in our luxury villa located in Plataria Syvota of Igoumenitsa in Epirus.
The villa is located in the picturesque village of Plataria, just twelve kilometers from Igoumenitsa, in a quiet beautiful location, which provides a magnificent view to blue waters of Ionian Sea and the island of Corfu.
A marvelous big garden (500s.m.), clean and prim. It has citrus trees, roses, colorful boungainvilleas and many flowers. In the center of it there is a plane tree. Under this plane tree there is a paved yard with all the necessary garden furniture, an ideal spot for relaxation and food. A quiet environment, cool breeze as well as deck chairs for calm sunbathing, admiring the sensational view to the vast blue, to the mountains, to the olive tree cultivations and to the magnificent sunset.
The Impressive plane tree which prevails between the house and the sea, has a long history that began over 300 years ago.
Under its shadow, the encounter between Ali Pasas and the English Commissary of Ionian Island took place for the delivery of Armatolou Katsadonis, who was wanted by the Turkish and took shelter in Corfu. The Epirus' customs office to Corfu and Italy also operated in this location. The boats that came to Corfu anchored here and tied their ropes on its branches. In addition, the name of the village Plataria, derives from this known plane tree, which lived through Greece's struggle for freedom and both World Wars. As a matter of fact it was bombarded by the Italians during the World War II; though it survived.
This Plane tree continues up to now to house our visitors under its shadow, who admire its history and enjoy its cool.
Villa Niki has 2 apartments and one studio. Every apartment provides two big bedrooms and a smaller one, which can accommodate up to five people.

The Studio Apartment has its own entrance, a shared washing machine (which can be used free of charge), and is equipped with air-conditioning.
The Studio Apartment offers:
- A Double Bed (dimensions: 1,60cm x 1,90cm), which if needed can be separated into two single beds.
- A Mirror, a table, two chairs, and a commodious wardrobe.

Plataria in Syvota is located between Igoumenitsa, Syvota and Parga.
Plataria is reputed for its fish taverns that offer fresh fish, as well as taverns, that serve a wide variety of dishes. One has many choices among traditional ouzo bars, nice cafeterias with a view to the sea, night clubs and pubs. Supermarkets, fruit stores, bakeries and butcher shops are at your disposal to satisfy your needs. Fish can be bought from local fishermen and their boats. Moreover, there is a surgery, pharmacy and a newly built marina, that can house your vessel paying a small charge or no charge at all. There is also the ability to rent a sailer or other kinds of vessels with or without a captain (license is not required for a vessel up to 4 meters).
Plataria in Syvota is located in the same-named bay, just 12km south of Igoumenitsa and 10km from Syvota. It is one of the most beautiful places of the Prefecture of Thesprotia since it has magnificent beaches and small secret coves. They are idylic for those who want to have a quiet sunbathing, with a cool breeze that starts at 10 o' clock in the morning and last for the rest of the day. The Epirotes know that very good, and for that reason they are permanent summer visitors.

Another beach near the village Plataria (distance 2km). It is on the way to Syvota and has a beach of white pebbles and pure blue water.
Gata
Another beautiful beach, 5 km from the village Plataria.

- Mega and Mikri Ammos
Leeward and organised beach, with tiny pebbles and blue-green waters. It is considered the biggest beach of the area, and there is also a tavern there. Next to Mega Ammos is the Mikri Ammos, with the same natural features. - Zavia
A small and sheltered, from winds, port, where a small olive grove can be seen on its shore. Also, one can easily rent a boat from here.
